Warranty Policy

1. Standard Repair Warranty (Included)

All completed hardware repair services carried out by RNS-X-RAY are covered by a 6-month (180 day) parts and labour warranty from the date of return delivery.

This warranty covers:

  • Re-occurrence of the original repaired fault
  • Defective replacement components fitted during repair

This warranty does not cover:

  • New unrelated faults
  • Physical damage
  • Liquid damage
  • Electrical surge damage
  • Incorrect installation
  • Vehicle wiring faults
  • Third-party tampering or repairs
  • Software modifications not performed by RNS-X-RAY

2. Optional Extended Warranty (24 Months)

Customers may purchase an extended warranty at the time of booking for an additional £49.99.

The extended warranty:

  • Extends coverage of the original repaired fault to 24 months
  • Covers defective replacement components fitted during repair
  • Applies only to the specific repair performed

The extended warranty does not cover:

  • New unrelated faults
  • Wear-and-tear components
  • Accidental damage
  • Liquid ingress
  • Incorrect installation
  • Vehicle electrical faults
  • Third-party repairs or modifications

The extended warranty must be purchased at the time of original booking and cannot be added retrospectively after the repair has been completed.

3. Software & Activation Services

Due to the nature of digital and software services:

  • Digital services are non-refundable once delivered
  • Compatibility responsibility rests with the customer unless pre-confirmed
  • Software services carry a 30-day functional guarantee covering activation failure only

4. Warranty Void Conditions

Warranty will be void if:

  • The unit has been opened, modified, or tampered with
  • Damage occurs after return delivery
  • Third-party repair attempts are made
  • Incorrect voltage or installation damage occurs
  • Serial numbers or warranty identifiers are removed

5. Claim Procedure

Customers must contact RNS-X-RAY before returning any item under warranty.

Return shipping to RNS-X-RAY is the customer’s responsibility unless agreed otherwise.

6. Limitation of Liability

RNS-X-RAY is not liable for:

  • Loss of vehicle use
  • Loss of income
  • Data loss
  • Indirect or consequential damages
